Some reasonably big titles but you may not have tried - Rogue Legacy - side scroller much like castlevania Bastion - great! isometric action game. Unless you want good games from the snes/genesis era. as well as the others you mentioned Guess i'll name some newer games, since it sounds like that's what your looking for. World of Magic (retro MMO for Android) also gave off a vibe like this with its cute, blocky
